Privacy policy.

Last updated: May 19, 2026.

Scope of this policy

This policy covers what peace-therapy.com (“the website”) collects and how that information is used. It does not cover clinical care. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Notice of Privacy Practices that governs how protected health information (PHI) is handled during care is a separate document, provided to all clients at intake.

Information collected through the website

When you visit this website, the following may be collected:

  • Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps
  • Any cookies your browser sends (currently the site sets none of its own; if analytics are added later, this policy will be updated)

The website has no contact form and no intake form. If you choose to reach out by phone or email, the practice receives only what you send.

How information is used

Information you send by phone or email is used only to:

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Schedule a consultation if requested
  • Improve the website’s functionality

Your information is never sold, traded, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Email is not encrypted

Email sent to vanessa@peace-therapy.com or any other email address is not end-to-end encrypted. For confidential matters, please call the office directly at (210) 504-8263 or use the secure client portal you receive after intake.

Cookies and analytics

The website does not currently use analytics or third-party tracking cookies. If analytics are added in the future (such as a privacy-friendly analytics provider with IP anonymization), this policy will be updated to describe what is collected and how to opt out.

Children’s privacy

The website is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. The practice serves minors in the clinical setting, but the website is not used as an intake channel for them; a parent or guardian should make initial contact.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have submitted through the website. To make a request, email vanessa@peace-therapy.com or call (210) 504-8263.

Security

Reasonable security measures are used to protect information submitted through the website. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in practice or law. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are made.
